National Enrichment Program

Based on the surveys from the Strategic Plan, the National Enrichment Program (NEP) began to look at the needs of the Order. The National Enrichment Program offerings are:

NATIONAL ENRICHMENT PROGRAM (NEP) OFFERINGS

  • Enrichment and Education - The National Enrichment Program offers various modules (classes) for growth and development. These modules are interactive sessions led by a facilitator either virtually or in-person. Below you will find descriptions of the currently offered modules. More modules will be added as they are developed.
  • Building Community: This module helps Daughters understand the importance of communication and relationships in building a strong, healthy community.
  • Leadership Academy: The Daughters’ Leadership Academy consists of three separate modules focusing on recognizing the call to leadership and developing the skills needed to become an effective leader in The Order.
  • Mentoring: This module equips Daughters to become mentors and helps Daughters understand what mentoring is and its value to personal and spiritual growth.

ABOUT NEP

The National Enrichment Program (NEP) officially began in 2015 when National Council members identified the need for focused attention on the formation of Daughters across the country. In the years since, attention has been primarily given to the development of leadership programs especially at the diocesan assembly and chapter levels.

Since the 2018 Triennial National Convention, the NEP committee paused to pray and renew its commitment to provide for the formation of Daughters as members and leaders. This pause helped the committee discern the need for new modules to assist and support Daughters.

Many Daughters have worked hard to develop the content listed below and there will be more to come.

PURPOSE

  • VISION: The vision of the National Enrichment Program is to encourage, enrich, equip, and empower all Daughters to do the work that God has called them to do.
  • MISSION:  The mission of the National Enrichment Program is to promote the formation of strong, spirit-filled women by identifying and developing resources Daughters can use to fulfill their vows of prayer and service.
  • OUR GUIDING VERSE:
    • Do not call to mind the former things or ponder things of the past. Behold I will do something new…Isaiah 43:18-19a (NASB)
  • OUR GUIDING PRAYER: (written by Nancy Severin, Past National President)
  • Come Holy Spirit, sweep through our lives, scattering the dust of former things, clearing our hearts and minds of past ponderings – of ancient musings. Manifest anew in us, releasing the purity of the Spirit that is our journey. As we embrace this coming newness, we will not fear the change that will surely attend it. We will, with God’s help, rejoice in the evolving creativity as the perfect design for all of life. Blessed Spirit, we invite You into our groundwork, asking for guidance and the love that is the wellspring of all faith and hope. Come Holy Spirit! The time is Here! Behold. Amen.
