In this virtual session, we explored the Self Denial Fund, its purpose, past recipients and the application process. The Self Denial Fund supports missions in the United States and around the world. Part 18: Faith in the Wilderness: Spirituality in the Pandemic The theme for this discussion was "Faith in the Wilderness: Spirituality in the Pandemic." This month, we completed a solid year under pandemic restrictions. In 2020, none of us believed or imagined that our lives would be affected for so long and in such a variety of ways. Part 19: "Thy Kingdom Come" Global Prayer Movement The theme for this conversation was " Thy Kingdom Come," a global prayer movement initiated in 2016 by the Archbishop of Canterbury. We will explore ways our chapters and churches could join with other Christians by praying for five friends during the days between Ascension Day and Pentecost. Part 30: Wrap-Up of Triennial 2022 Celebration On August 6, 2022, Daughters shared their experiences and thoughts about Triennial 2022 that was held in Baltimore, Maryland on June 22 - 26, 2022.

Episode 2: Re-Envisioning the Self Denial Fund On January 21, 2023, Daughters discussed how to re-envision the Self Denial Fund mandate for the 21st century so that it accurately reflects the mission and vision of The Order and aligns with the types of ministries needed to spread the Good News in today’s world. Episode 8: Governing The Order for a New Day Triennial Convention can lift our spirits and renew our commitment to our Rule of Life with inspiring speakers, amazing music, compelling workshops, and celebrating with a community of sisters. The purpose of Triennial; however, is the governance of The Order, by electing officers and voting on proposed changes to bylaws and resolutions. In 2024, proposed bylaw changes cover a number of important and complicated concerns, including eligibility for presidency, enabling virtual delegates to Convention, and the definition and composition of diocesan and provincial assemblies, as well as some terminology changes. For this Conversations With Daughters, we walked through the proposed changes and answered questions and concerns.

Episode 1: Our National Council Our National Council On September 9, 2024, CWD's topic was about our new National Council for 2024 - 2027, who took office on September 1, 2024.
Episode 2: Racism and Sacred Ground On Monday, October 7, 2024, the topic was the Sacred Ground program. Sacred Ground is part of Becoming Beloved Community, The Episcopal Church’s long-term commitment to racial healing, reconciliation, and justice in our personal lives, our ministries, and our society.

Episode 4: Reducing Stress in a Stressed-Out World On Monday, December 2, 2024, the topic of conversations was Reducing Stress in a Stressed-Out World. There was a short yoga/breathing exercise, a short labyrinth session, as well as stress relief ideas for music, art, prayer, and meditation.
Episode 5: 2025 is Here... So, Here Am I, Lord This month, we dove into the topic of "2025 is Here... So, Here Am I, Lord." During this conversation, we reviewed a keynote by Mother Lynn Carter Edmands, former national chaplain of The Order, delivered at the Province V assembly in 2024. We broke into smaller groups to discuss our "elevator speech" for evangelism and how our passions can invite others to a closer walk with God.
Episode 6: International Prayer Partners This month, we learned about International Prayer Partners within The Order. During this conversation, Judy Bordelon, National Secretary and members of the International Committee discussed the ins and outs of having an International Chapter as a prayer partner with you and your chapter.
Episode 7: Our Rule of Life with Lenten Renewal In March, we heard from The Rev. Susan Dyer, Past National President, Nancy Severin, and Province VI President, Mary Westcott on the topic of Our Rule of Life Within Lenten Renewal.
Episode 8: Membership and Junior Daughters On April 7, 2025, we are talked about Junior and Senior Membership. During this conversation, Nadine Craig, National Membership Chair, Jabeen Edmund, Membership Committee, and Terry Krawitz, National Junior Daughters Chair, discussed where we are and how we can joyfully and intentionally grow The Order. On May 5, 2025, we heard inspiring stories from Daughters at Large who have found unique ways to stay connected and live out their vows of prayer and service.
Episode 10: All Daughters are Ministers: A Look at Baptismal Ministry On June 2, 2025, we were joined by the Rev. Canon Meg Wagner, Canon to the Ordinary for the Episcopal Diocese of Iowa and the Rev. Canon Terri Bays, Province V Chaplain and Missioner for Transitions and Formation in the Episcopal Diocese of Northern Indiana to look at how all Daughters are ministers through our Baptismal ministry.
