Financial Support of The Order |
Financial Support of The OrderThe primary way that the financial needs of The Order are met is through annual dues paid by each Daughter. This money is used to support the work of The Order at the national, provincial assembly, and diocesan assembly levels and includes a subscription to The Royal Cross, our national quarterly publication. For those who occasionally need help in paying dues, financial assistance is available.
How Dues Support the National Operations of The Order
Annual dues from Daughters help support the national operations of The Order which enable Daughters to live out their mission of extending Christ’s Kingdom through Prayer, Service, and Evangelism. National operations are carried out by members of the National Council, off-council chairs and committee members, and the national office staff.

Funds of The OrderAlthough
we are not allowed to raise money in the name of The Order, the fruits
of our individual giving spread Christ’s Kingdom in many ways. Daughters
give annually to the four Funds of The Order. The Mission and Outreach Fund provides financial support to both global and local mission and outreach projects to share God’s love with all people; the Ministry Education Fund provides financial assistance to women and girls for ministry-related education; the Junior Daughters Fund provides
financial support to Junior directresses in their efforts to extend
Christ's kingdom among young women and girls; and the Endowment Fund supports
the continuing work of The Order in the extension of Christ’s Kingdom.
Chapters observe annual dates of ingathering for each Fund but
individual contributions may be made at any time. Gifts from those who
are not Daughters are always welcomed.
How the Endowment Fund supports The OrderThe Endowment Fund was established to further the work of The Order by investing donations made to the Fund and providing for the later withdrawal of earnings. The Order follows the established policy for the Fund concerning the retention and long-term growth of the principal (donated monies) and calculated withdrawals of earnings based on the financial solvency of The Order. The Endowment Fund is blessed to have experienced significant growth in recent years. As such, earnings have been distributed in the last 8 fiscal years according to policy and designated for International Development, National Enrichment, Operating Reserve, and Capital Expenditures. The Endowment Fund truly is a gift that keeps on giving!
Other GivingAdditional donations, made through the generosity of members and friends, are a great help in funding the expansion of The Order and our mission, both domestically and abroad. Donations can be made to fund dues scholarships, to support international development and the purchase of international crosses, and to support Triennial programs and scholarships. |
