The Re-Envisioning the Self Denial Fund Committee held a virtual meeting on Zoom on Monday, May 20, 2024, to discuss the proposed mandate and name for the Self Denial Fund. The proposed changes will be voted on at Triennial 2024 by delegates.

Proposed Mandate and Name of the Self Denial Fund

Sisters, it is with joy and humility that the Self Denial Fund Re-Envisioning Committee presents the proposed mandate and name for the Self Denial Fund. The proposed name is “The Mission and Outreach Fund,”  and the proposed mandate is “The Mission and Outreach Fund supports both global and local mission and outreach projects to share God’s love with all people.”

The Committee would also like to share the proposed changes to the names of the Alpha Fund and Master’s Fund.

The Alpha Fund proposed name is “The Junior Daughters Fund”

The Master’s Fund proposed name is “The Ministry Education Fund”
