Each President will describe her time in office, give insight into her hope for the future of The Order, and answer any questions you may have. Chesley Vohden will be sharing on behalf of Krisita Jackson.

This workshop presentation follows the transformation and life cycle of an egg to an adult butterfly. The presenter will share her garden and how she hand raises the egg, caterpillar, chrysalis, and butterfly and how each stage represents the birth, life, death, and resurrection of Jesus.

The focus will be on identifying changes that can be made to attract women of all ages to The Order.

Vaughn and the St. Thomas Chapter The St. Thomas Chapter is hosting this workshop to promote the ongoing discussion about our 2022 "Open Letter to the DOK Calling All Daughters to stand up for Justice." This will be an interactive session designed to help Daughters envision and do intentional work to create a culture of belonging within The Order.

A finger labyrinth is similar to a full-sized labyrinth you would walk except it is on a much smaller and more portable scale.
Restoring the Hearts of the Children: Receiving and ministering healing for the sins against our bodies, minds, and souls in childhood		6/27/2024	6/27/2024	3:30 PM	4:15 PM	6/27/2024 3:30 PM - 4:15 PM Presenter: The Rev. Dr. Margaret Short In our Christian walk, many of us have been guided in prayers of repentance and receiving forgiveness for our own sins and offenses against God and our “neighbors.” Yet, when have we received prayer and healing for the sins committed against us, especially while we were yet children, when we were innocent? Margaret+ will share the love, acceptance, and healing of God’s Holy Spirit to restore hearts, bodies, minds and souls injured in childhood. The power of sins committed against us as children can be broken, and rendered null and void as A New Day Dawns and we are healed and restored in the light and love of Christ! Come as God leads us in restoration to holiness, innocence, and new beginnings for ourselves and for our future generations.

We will provide references to literature that will give you further information on the process. Discerning the Call: Online Preparation Course		6/27/2024	6/27/2024	4:30 PM	5:15 PM	6/27/2024 4:30 PM - 5:15 PM Presenter: Kimbrely Cortner and Christine Budzowski "Discerning the Call" is a three-month online course of preparation for admission to The Order (or re-dedication/reinstatement) developed in the Diocesan Assembly of Los Angeles and is in use for the fourth year throughout Province VIII. Our workshop presentation will include a sampling of the materials and methods used to provide a model for others who wish to offer online discernment courses.

We will explore what it is and what it is not, as well as all the available tools you can use to evangelize effectively. You will also learn how to present your story and give a powerful testimonial.

Jonnette DeMarsico In this guided meditation workshop, we will explore the concept of creating holy moments every day using Matthew Kelly's booklet, Holy Moments. The session will start with a brief lecture, followed by a step-by-step Scripture-guided meditation. The goal is to help participants open up to God's presence, set aside their self, listen for His call, and do what He asks. The charge is to go forth in the world sharing the Gospel through holy moments. Each participant will receive a copy of the booklet and a handout of Scripture verses.

Each participant will have the opportunity to make a wind chime, an angel planter box, and receive flower seeds. You will also get to create a sample peace pole for your garden or to donate to other gardens. There will be time for Q&A to address any questions you may have.

Georgine Buckwalter Explore God's call to forgive and usher in a new dawn in your own life. Forgiving is an essential part of our faith. When we pray the Lord's Prayer we promise to forgive others. Forgiving is often one of the most difficult things we will ever do. You will learn what forgiveness is and what it is not. You will hear how God calls us to witness to others when we forgive. When we witness someone forgiving the impossible, we see God in action in their life and it changes our life.

Participants are encouraged to bring a new prayer journal with them.

Doing your daily devotions on the go? Here's a solution: an inconspicuous prayer pouch you can take with you or leave closed by your chair. Participants will receive a roomy fabric pouch. We will be making both a written prayer journal and a picture journal to hold clippings, favorite prayers, photos of those for who we pray, and more. There may be a small charge for supplies. Bring along those clippings, photos, etc. that are stuffed in your prayer book

Yet, society responds based predominantly on male experiences, using a framework created by male researchers. What if we stripped away our preconceived ideas of why homelessness happens, how we should respond, & wrapped it in a new framework built on the lived experiences of women as identified by female researchers and advocates? Let’s unpack how homelessness is different for women, how we can frame it through a lens that prioritizes female experiences, & how we can usher in authentic response through the empowerment of ourselves & our sisters in Christ.
