Diocesan Assembly of East Tennessee Presents Advent Songs and Reflections from Women of the Bible

Just how intense was the anticipation of the coming Messiah for those who waited for the wonder of the very first Christmas? Join the Daughters of the King of East Tennessee as they present “Advent Songs and Reflections from the Women of the Bible” on the first Sunday of Advent, December 3, at 7:00 p.m. virtually on Zoom. This presentation involves placing ourselves in the hearts and minds of the female biblical characters – both real and imagined – who played a part in the Christmas narrative. The purpose in their voices is to lead us closer to the Christ Child and deepen the meaning of the season of Advent for our 21st century minds.
