Diocesan Assembly of Maryland Virtual Vigil
Maryland Daughters,
Beloved
Daughter Glenda Bailey passed on November 30, 2021. She is survived by
her husband, Phil, and son, Josh. Please pray for the repose of her
soul and for the Holy Spirit to comfort her surviving family and the
many other people who loved her dearly, including her friend at the St.
Christopher's Chapter, Barbara Roles. Glenda was an integral part of the
Executive Team of the Maryland Diocesan Assembly, guiding us like an
eagle soaring overhead and connecting us all to the Divine. She served
as the MD DOK President from 2007-2009. Glenda was a beautiful, charitable Christian woman and spiritual leader.
The Daughters of the King will hold an online vigil for Glenda on December 9, 2021, at 7: 00 PM. (Please RSVP to janemckinney8602@comcast.net if you wish to participate.) A memorial service will be scheduled after Christmas.

God of all compassion, God of all time.
You created us and gave us life.
Our lives are in your hands.
You have called Glenda to return home to you.
We know that she is with you now, healed and whole.
And yet we grieve.
Surround us with your comfort, her husband, Phil, her son, Josh, and all those who mourn.
Prepare the hearts of those who will receive word of Glenda’s death.
Soften the hurt with the balm of your love.
We ask it all for His sake,
Jesus Christ our Savior.
Amen.
