The first chapter in Puerto Rico was formed in 2000 at San Juan Bautista Cathedral in San Juan. That chapter is no longer active, but the second chapter in Puerto Rico was instituted on August 26, 2017 at La Iglesia de la Resurrección in Manatí. It was with great joy that Capítulo Guerreras en la Fe (Warriors in the Faith Chapter) celebrated the admission of ten new Daughters of the King. International Chair Lindy Kirk and her husband, Frank, were present for the celebration, along with the Bishop of Puerto Rico, the Rt. Rev. Rafael Morales, the Canon and Dean from the Cathedral and local clergy. New Chapter President Zoraida Maldonado and parish Rector, the Rev. Aida Alvarez, had worked very hard to plan this special event, which included a dramatic cross procession and liturgical dancing.
