Chapter NewsA Joyful Visit with the Cathedral Chapter, AccraOn October, 19, 2013 the DOK Cathedral Chapter at The Cathedral Church of the Most Holy Trinity in Accra, Ghana hosted a luncheon meeting in honor of a visit from National President Pam Runyon and former National Council member Lana Valenta. The Cathedral Chapter, currently the only active chapter in Ghana, consists of about 40 Junior and Senior Daughters. Chapter President is Honora Appiah and Junior Directress is Emelite Akonnor. They are assisted in leadership by several senior Daughters. The program for the luncheon meeting was planned and presented by the Junior Daughters and included singing, a dramatic presentation and an exhortation. Before the meeting, the Rev. Susanna Akun blessed the crosses, which were later presented to chapter members. The Rev. Reginald Lawson attended the meeting on behalf of the Dean of the Cathedral and assisted in the presentation of the crosses. A delicious celebration luncheon was catered by the mother of one of the Junior Daughters.
